"The Practice of Ophthalmology" Series:  Advocacy 101

The PAO has created a pilot program for ophthalmic residents and fellows in Pennsylvania to expand their education to include the practical side of the profession of ophthalmology.

Andy Goodman, principal at Milliron Goodman will share the strategic value of grassroots efforts and the simple steps to building relationships with your state legislators.  State Representative  Joseph Hohenstein (District 177) will  provide the legislative perspective and answer your questions.  Young Ophthalmologists with recent advocacy experiences will offer insight on how to get started.

These free live webinars  will allow interactive learning and provide self-assessment tools.  We will engage participants by using strategies of pre-post testing, case based presentations, online polls, and by providing materials/resources for further learning and reinforcement; time is built for Q&A and discussion.

This program is directed toward individuals currently participating in residency programs and fellowships in Pennsylvania.   All PA residents and fellows receive a complimentary membership in the PAO.  Sign in to claim yours!
